Gift from the WindGift from the Wind
The wind, known by some as the levanter and by others as simum by others, began as a small stirring at one edge of the sea. It cooled a farmer's face in Andalusia as he rose from back-breaking work to stare at the sky. Building to a tumbling billow, it rolled across the ocean and tinkled the crystal display outside a shop. Traveling along the coast, it ruffled the pages of a book held in the hands of a young man, although he paid more heed to the wind than the book, as he sat on an unmoving caravan. Finally it slowed to a low, snaking sweep across the desert, drying the tears on a girl's face as she lay in the Gift from the Wind

End of term pounced on me like a tiger, I sprained my wrist in gym class today and time has been flying by faster than I'd noticed, so I doubt I'm entering any competitions soon.

I'd originally planned on entering a halloween writing competition, but I just don't have the time or the creative drive. I haven't even been reading novels at all lately, and I've picked up playing the piano again (although this wrist thing won't help it) and I doubt I'll be doing much except The Burning Kingdom Ch. 1 pt. 3, but I'm not sure about Ch. 2.

Hopefully I'll get through this term without too much damage and I can get back on my feet, get more sleep, pick up my act about the whole school situation (five tests in three days, a test for chem, one for physics, a term test for chem, a math term test and a term test for physics). Then I'kk probably get really into writing tBK!

BTW: Book 12 of The Wheel of Time comes out tomorrow, it's the first one not by the original author, Robert Jordan, it's by the author chosen to finish it, who's also my favorite author now, Brandon Sanderson... and I DON'T HAVE TIME TO READ IT!!! AHHH!!! I want to do a re-read of the 11th book at least, maybe a re-read of the entire series, before I read the 12th. I think I'll buy the 12th book right away anyway and let my friend Laura read it first. I wish me and her had a class together, sitting next to her in science class last year was great.

TL;DR => I hurt my wrist, I'm busy with school, I unfortunately won't be entering any halloween competitions, the next book in The Wheel of Time came out and I don't have time to read it but hopefully I'll recuperate and write some amazing poems and stories.

PS: I typed this entirely with my left hand.
